There is camping near Bishop, and the hotels in Bishop are deluxe (by climbers' standards) and not too expensive. (I like the one with the outdoor hot tub)

Il y a camping principal à côté de Bishop. Les hôtels à Bishop sont luxueux pour des grimpeurs et pas trop chers.

If you don't like the idea of getting a ticket, keep an eye on the speed limit both on the way to Bishop and once in town. When walking, use designated crosswalks (on a green light).

Dans la ville et sur les routes de Bishop, faites attention à la limite de vitesse en voiture. Traversez les rues sur les passages piéton (et au feu vert) de préférence. Le Sherif s’ennuie terriblement !
